3. Legal basis

The legal basis for processing the details submitted through the form is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by ticking the checkbox before sending. You may withdraw it at any time and without giving reasons by writing to info@rowanhillglobal.hu. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

If the enquiry leads to a business relationship, further processing may rest on the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) or on compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

4. Retention

Details submitted through the contact form are kept for 12 months after the enquiry is closed, then irreversibly deleted. Where the enquiry leads to a business relationship, the data is retained for the statutory retention period applicable to that relationship.

5. Processors and recipients

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. The following processors may access it to the extent needed to provide their service:

• Hosting provider: ⟨hosting provider name and address⟩, operation of the website.
• Email delivery provider: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States), delivery of form messages. The transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• Web analytics provider: Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States), aggregated visit statistics. The transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
• The group member company directly concerned by the enquiry, for the purpose of replying.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no marketing cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Operation requires only the technical data recorded in server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL), kept for security and operational purposes for no more than 30 days.

Visit statistics are measured with Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies: nothing is stored on your device and you are not tracked across other websites. The service records the page visited, the referring source, device and browser type and country-level location, in aggregate form. To tell unique visitors apart it derives an identifier that rotates daily and cannot be reversed, so you cannot be identified from it.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: understanding how the website is used and improving it on that basis. You may object to the statistical processing as described in section 9.

7. Security

The website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the data is limited to authorised staff and reviewed regularly. We take all reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• the right to be informed and of access (Article 15);
• the right to rectification (Article 16);
• the right to erasure (Article 17);
• the right to restriction of processing (Article 18);
• the right to data portability (Article 20);
• the right to object (Article 21);
• the right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 7(3)).

9. Remedies

Send your request to info@rowanhillglobal.hu or by post to our registered office; we reply within 30 days of receipt.

If you consider that our processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Falk Miksa utca 9-11., 1055 Budapest, ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) or bring proceedings before the competent court.
